Privacy Policy

The short version
Oleon stores your business name and your WhatsApp connection details, and nothing else. There is no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising. We don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't keep copies of your customers' conversations.
Who we are
Oleon (“we”) connects a business's WhatsApp number to an assistant that can answer their customers. This policy covers the Oleon website and app at oleonplatformv6.vercel.app.
What we store
When you sign in and set up your assistant, we store:
- Your email and name - so we know who you are when you come back.
- Your business name - the assistant uses it when it greets your customers.
- Your WhatsApp connection details - the identifiers Meta gives you for your WhatsApp Business account and phone number, and the access token that lets us send replies on your behalf.
That's the complete list. We don't ask for anything else, and we don't collect anything you haven't typed in.
Where it's stored
In an encrypted cookie in your own browser, not in a database on our servers. The cookie is signed so it can't be edited, marked httpOnly so no script can read it, and your access token is encrypted inside it.
This has a practical consequence worth knowing: clear your browser data and your setup goes with it. You'd reconnect from scratch.
Your customers' messages
When your assistant replies to someone on WhatsApp, that message passes through our server on its way to Meta. We don't store it, log it, or keep a transcript. The conversation lives in WhatsApp, which is Meta's, and Meta's own privacy policy governs it.
The test conversation on the Chat page never leaves your browser at all - it's kept in your tab and disappears when you close it.
Who else sees it
Two companies, both because the product cannot run without them:
- Meta- WhatsApp is theirs. Your connection details and your customers' messages go to them. That's the product working as intended.
- Vercel - they host the site. Like any web host, their servers handle the requests, and they keep standard access logs.
Nobody else. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels, and we've never sold data to anyone.
Cookies
Two, both strictly necessary - one that keeps you signed in, one that holds your setup. No advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you've never seen a cookie banner here.
Getting rid of it
Sign out, or clear your browser data for this site. Both remove everything we hold about you, immediately and permanently - there isn't a copy anywhere else to delete.
Your WhatsApp Business account stays yours regardless. You can revoke Oleon's access at any time from your Meta business settings, and we lose the ability to send anything the moment you do.
Changes
If we start storing more - a database, a transcript, anything - this page changes before that ships, not after.
